March 2020 Calendar

The name of the month of March was derived from the Roman god of war on the March printable calendar. For many years, March was the beginning of spring, as well as the beginning of the New Year. Most of Europe used the month of March as the beginning of the year. Great Britain used the 25 of March as a new year until 1752.

Named after the Roman god of war, March, March is the third month of the year. There are 31 days in March marked on the blank March calendar and is known as the first spring month in the northern hemisphere due to the spring equinox that takes place between March 19 and March 21 each year. In the southern hemisphere, March is identical to September in the northern hemisphere. It was originally the 1st month of the year in previous versions of the Roman calendar because of its association with the first day of spring. Although January 1 is New Year's Day, different regions and cultures still celebrate the New Year in March. March begins on the same day of the week of February and November and ends on the same day of June in ordinary years.

If you are planning a trip on one of these wonderful days, be sure to plan ahead and prepare yourself for large crowds and tourists.
